I grew up in Virginia and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, where I studied communications and art history. I also have a graduate degree in information management from the University of Oregon. I have lived in Oregon since 1995.
Since 1999 I have studied and practiced many forms of art: drawing, writing, photography and book arts. I began watercolor painting in 2011, and have continued taking classes and workshops ever since. In 2013 I was juried into Watercolor Society of Oregon. I am also a member of Oregon Society of Artists, Northwest Watercolor Society, Westside ArtShare, and Village Gallery of Arts, a cooperative art gallery in Portland, Oregon.
